No Jack ... no AHL on the kind of LCI headlights I got (not even AHL motor inside it) I think the diff. on LCI headlights is the one I got has clear inner lens so non-Adaptive but I think US version are all Adaptive.
If your car is Adaptive capable I think you can transfer the control box.

So rival you've got the Adaptive headlights to work on the LCI headlights? So if i was going to do the project i would have to purchase the ALC Adaptive Xenon headlights right?

Yes re-wiring are required since LCI headlights uses different plug ... then a full blown conversion will probably need newer LCM and re-programming but mine is the hack version 'cuz I was non-Xenon before.

That would be sweet if I can just transfer the AHL to the LCI headlights from my Pre LCI headlights unit. Whats needed rival? rewireing the wires of the headlights?

Those lights look amazing, good job there man, much better than my standard pre-LCI setup, thats gotta be a future project for me, just need to wait til i've forked out for a service, road tax and two new tyres lol.

I was the same as you are now ... std non-Xenon Halogen headlights.
The Xenon headlight housing will fit no problem either w/ pre-LCI (up to 2007) or w/ LCI (2008+) like what I upgraded ... the plug will be OK w/ the pre-LCI Xenon but not the wiring inside the plug (at least Halogen plug missing a ground wire required by the Xenon) on the other hand w/ LCI like I did the plug is completely different so you have to rewire each of them w/ the pin/socket & plug and after that on either you have to do some more wire hacking inside the headlight housing to make the Xenon to work on Halogen otherwise iDrive will complaint and the lights will flicker and stuff.
More like plug-'n-pray project ... but the final outcome is ... GL!
