Hello all

Had my 520D M Sport about 8 months now had have done around 16K miles. It's a great car.

Considering a couple of modifications

1. DMS Remap - Increase BHP from 163 to 208 and probably more importantly a health increase in torque. Has anyone had their 520D DMS'd as I would appreciate some feedback.

2. Style 172 19in Rims with non runflats. Anyone know of a good source in the UK? I guess I would be going for replicas due to price constraints.

Aprreciate any comments from anyone with experience of either of these.

Cheers

I don't know of any decent replicas on the 172's.

For a set of originals at a decent price you could look here
http://www.salesafter.de/index.php?id=60

They also do ship to the UK and these are a German BMW dealership

As far as the wheels go.... if possible go for originals. When I bought my 135M's I phoned the parts dept. of several BMW dealers and it was amazing the discount you could get especially if you buy a full set.

19" 172's cheaper than 18" 135's!!! Yum... (Must be those expensive runflats!)

...hey colejl, you're not turning this into another runflat bashing thread are you?!

As for the original questions, a set of 172s will look great on your M-Sport andymac. Having driven a 325d yesterday, I agree with you, extra torque for the 520d would be nice - just make the whole driving experience a little more effortless and put a little larger on your face. DMS seems to be a reliable remapping supplier from what I have read here in the forum.
