Oh one more thing, my car is w/o Sport Suspension.. i like soft and smooth ride for my daily commute, so didnt get sports package.

Now to mount M5 166' 19"s, Do i have to install H&R Springs? or lower the car?

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front. Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.

It will look nicer if you lower it since there will be a very big gap if you have 19" w/o sport suspension.
I have 19" and lower my car and the ride is definitely not as smooth, but definitely tolerable. I don't know how much will contribute to the decrease in smooth ride (since I add new wheels and lower it at the same time), but I suspect the wheels contributes more. If you want a more comfy ride, go with Eibach pro springs. From what I read they are not as stiff as H&R (so little smoother ride).

Just ask Monacobmw what he thought of his replica 166's. He now has OEM's bc of the horror show he went through.

Well, I know that there are 2 dealers in the US that give E60.net members a 25% discount on ALL OEM parts, including wheels. BMW of Newport (Rhode Island that is), is one. I believe the other is Crevier BMW which I believe is in SoCal. When I cracked one of my wheels, bmwwheels.com wanted more than BMW of Newport. I also heard that bmwwheels.com packages their wheels for shipping like crap. I think some members on here who got their wheels from them had damage on some of the rims. Sucks.

The wheel I got from BMW of Newport was in a box and looked like it came direct from the factory. It was packaged perfectly.

Oh, and shipping was cheaper through BMW of Newport than bmwwheels.com. A lot cheaper via UPS.

My local dealer Hunterdon BMW gives 25% off on Saturdays if you have BMWCCA memebership (which I do)..

So from dealer it would be: $2000-25%off = $1500 + Tax = Same as BMWWheels.com (much cheaper than quad_m)

So checking around m5board.com to see if someone is getting rid of their stock wheels for an upgrade, so might get from them if much cheaper.

I just called my dealer, just to get quote on a single 166 wheel( $500/wheel), he told me it is not recommended to have M5 166 on my 2006 525i, since it has different off-sets and the brakes and all would be a problem??

bmwwheels.com packaging has improved a billion percent. Double boxed and took 10 days.
