I have a Monaco Blue sport (shadowline standard) and I think it looks much better with the matte black trim than with the chrome around the windows. There's another Monaco Blue non-sport where I work so I get to see everyday how much more I like the shadowline .

I also purchased gloss black grills but haven't installed them yet. I want to eventually go with the m-sport body kit so they'll match better but I might just remove the lower silver strip on the LCI bumper in the meantime. I haven't installed them yet so I have a little time to figure it out.

That's what is stopping me from going with gloss black kidneys right now. If it pops off I guess I could have it painted.

I think I want gloss black window trim when I do it. Can't I just pop that chrome trim off and have it professionally painted gloss black?

ETA: can the kidneys and grill strip be painted gloss as well? May be better to just attic the chrome pieces for resale if it ever comes to that?

Another option is to have that strip painted body color. It would match the gloss black grill pretty good.

Matte black shadowline and kidneys. It will look great.
