Clear white rear lights!

My Ride: 535D Sport Auto
I noticed in the UK BMW accessories brochure that you can buy completly clear rear lights for the tidy sum of ?425 and was wondering if anyone had them or was getting them. I can't decide whether they look good or not. I don't remember seeing any in the Gallery.

My Ride: 530d Sport,6spd Manual, Carbon Black, Black Leather, Electric Seats, Visability Package.
I saw the clear rear lights on a 535d at my local dealers. They looked really good. I am considering them for my 530d

It looks ugly.. i've seen it in person before..

No offense, but personally, I'm leaving these lights to owners of japanese cars.
For me, it makes the car look cheaper. But again, that is just my impression.
I must admit that I am quite surprised that BMW offers this as an accessory... but then you would expect that Chris B & Co have thought this through carefully...
Can't follow them on this one though (not yet at least).

They are illegal in the USA, unless you get the red euro reflector inserts for the rear bumper.
