Hi freed0m:
Sorry to hear about your adverse with the installer. When you said an "authorized installer" did you mean your BMW dealer as the: "authorized installer" or the (3m?) clear coat vendor?
Thanks in advance!

He just did my 545. Came out perfect. He also did my M3 about 1 year ago. Still looks brand new. No chips at all.

Hi Presley348,
I did extensive research to understand the quality of the film and decided on Armorglove due to recommendations from others that uses it. Contacted Armorglove and asked who in the Bay Area, CA is an authorized and trained by them to do the installation. They provided the name and contact information... And the rest is nothing but nightmare! if you like I can share what a "really bad" clear bra installation look like

Definetly recommend it. "The rock chips will have a very visible ON-Off pattern" NO WAY. There isnt a distinctive line between where there are stone chips and where there isnt (* part protected by the bra *) I have had my MINI for 2 years and I have a total of 2 chips on the hood that are above the bra. I drive up and down the 710 freeway daily and its paint chip heaven on that freeway. Trucks go up and down that freeway to the Long Beach port.
Yes it is more noticable up close but even at that most people still dont see it until I point it out or if they finally spot the line. As for it being not as reflective isnt true either... its not as noticable as speedracer makes it sound.
What was his name? The guy that did my MINI 2 years ago was AWESOME! http://www.transparentbra.com/ I wanted him to do the E60 but he moved up north... I'm wonder if it was him. So I ended up having to look for a new installer. This new one is ok... not 100% as satisified as the one who did my MINI.
