I had the 3M one installed in December on my 09 535iX and it is holding up well despite a lot of snow that we had this winter. The dealer installed it for me on the front and on the mirrors.Very happy with how it looks.

$199 here in Colorado with a window tint, $249 for just the 3M clearbra. It is not that important for the bumper since it is plastic and wont rust, however if you get pit marks on your hood it could rust.
Not sure if it is worth the money or not. I didnt purchase while getting my windows tinted.

You can still see it from up close, especially if it's only done on the front of the hood, no matter what brand or who does it.
I'm considering having it done after I paint the hood, but kind of hesitant because of the looks.
And financially, well, I'm paying now 300 Euro for a high-quality hood paint job. I'd then pay around 200 for the clear bra to "save" half of the hood?
I'd rather just paint it again in a couple of years instead...
This logic obviously doesn't apply to factory-fresh paint, if it doesn't have any stone chips yet.
