I've been wanting to do the cleaning BenAnd Style but I just can't find the right tool.

Not anymore. I just ordered a set of 5 point Security Bit set. Hope I get the correct size.

Glad I could help so many people! Enjoy guys, amazing gas mileage and performace! If you have ever lived in a really dusty climate (arizona, nevada etc) or have more than 25k, or have used any aftermarket oiled filters you should definetly clean the MAF. You may be surprised. I lived in arizona and like everyone else on here have been impressed with the results, especially in gas milage and smoothness of ride. MUCH smoother and consistently 4 more mph city or highway and this has been now for almost 2 weeks of data collection so it is pretty convincing

I must say I have noticed a little more zest in mine since I cleaned the MAF 2 nights ago!!! Very easy to do and I think the slightest layer of dust or whatever on the sensor probably changes the vehicles performance, at least a little bit...

I just did this over lunch and didn't notice a big difference. Worried a bit since I think I was spraying too close, few inches from the sensors. Although I didn't touch any of the components. I guess I was supposed to spray and mist it about 10 inches away. Will monitor the ride and the mpg in the next weeks or so to see. If no improvements, then I might just try cleaning it again.

Tomorrow I get my sprint booster for manual. Can't wait!

Just did mine today. No luck finding the elusive t-26 so just took the cover off and sprayed. Considered the charcoal filter but left it alone.
