I cross posted this question on another site too since I'm trying to get more opinions.

What are your thoughts on chrome wheels on BMW's? I was thinking of getting my stock wheels (BMW style 124) chromed but I rarely see any BMW's with chrome wheels. I see tons of Mercedes with chrome wheels but no BMW's.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks,
Henry

Please don?t !

They are ok for a Nissan or even an MB but BMW E60 is worth of more sofisticated rims - my honest opinion!

It looks like many people aren't a fan of chrome on a BMW. I asked a couple of friends and my SA and I didn't find one person that thought chrome on a BMW looked good, even a chromed factory rim.

I dont think Chrome rims in general look bad on a E60, I have a set of forged 20's Chrome rims on mine, I just think that factory chrome rims dont look good.

I'm trying to decide on new rims myself and all I can say for sure is that chrome rims don't look right on a BLACK Bimmer. White - yeah, silver - maybe. Play it safe and go with some polished rims, I think they'll stay in vogue much longer. Just my two cents.
