Has anyone seen one of these fitted to a car? just interested to see what it looks like. Also e-bay have some chrome grills described as similar to the M5, has anyone fitted one of these? if so are they as good as the genuine BMW item?

Please stick to OEM.
Best looking, 100 % fit and not that expensive (some ?150).
Before the facelift, all E60 grills are the same!

I have the non-OEM grille. As you can see from the pics the surround is slightly more bulging and thicker compared to the OEM one. I like it but not every one in the know does. It gives more presence but I'm sure 99% of normal people can't tell one from the other. No issues at all with fitting these. The quality was spot on too. Dunno if they're the same ones you can get on ebay though

It looks like the ones on ebay that you quote k44ent are for the E90 and not for our E60 5 series.

I think yours look pretty good PoleApart.
They are much more prominant which is good if you like the chrome look as I do - although I guess the people who like to black everything out might not agree.
It looks like the ones on ebay that you quote k44ent are for the E90 and not for our E60 5 series.
They seem to have the characteristic moustach at the top which you don't get on E60 grills. However, it is too rounded at the inner edge for the E90 so I can only summise that they are to fit the E60 but to give an E90 style (if that's what you want - seems a bit like a downgrade to a lower model series though.
)
