When I had my E36 years ago I went to a local wheel exchange place and did a chrome swap for about $500. I liked it at the time but now I wouldn't do it. I would rather have the machine finish.

It's all about preference, if you like it then go for it. Are you in California (LA)? From the looks of your avatar it looks like you are? If so there are a lot of chrome wheel exchange places you can go to. That way you can go in person and check them out before buying it.

SORRY NO[b][u]

Let me tell you a story. I went to a car wash place one weekend when I was feeling a little lazy. Salesman tries to sell me the tire shine treatment. So, I says to the punk, "What? What do I look like a pimp?" He smiled and said, "Sir, I always try because the pimps in the fancy cars like it."

Now, I am a modest person. Why do you b i a t c h e s insist on making us all look like sorry old pimp wanna be's? Take your chrome and put it on a Lexus, Hyundai or some other Eastern garbage (in the Frenchified, garbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage way).

Guess you don't like chrome.. I do agree with most people and say no on changing those wheels to chrome.. however not all chrome wheels look bad.. if you have a good design a chrome rim could look great.. but those wheels aren't

Don't do it.

BTW, chrome isn't even that "in" with pimps and drug dealers anymore. The big dawgs get black and other colored wheels now...
