has anyone tried this it seems like a decent deal........Ive liked chrome wheels in the past but on the bmw im wondering if it cheapens the look of the vehicle?

When I had my E36 years ago I went to a local wheel exchange place and did a chrome swap for about $500. I liked it at the time but now I wouldn't do it. I would rather have the machine finish.
It's all about preference, if you like it then go for it. Are you in California (LA)? From the looks of your avatar it looks like you are? If so there are a lot of chrome wheel exchange places you can go to. That way you can go in person and check them out before buying it.
