Did anyone change the chrome molding around their doors to the black sport ones?
Is it difficult? I don't want to scratch or damage the door.

The OEM gloss black version is actually quite a much more expensive, even without the wide vertical door sills. It looks nice, but I've seen it scratching and swirling damn easy, so I would get the matte black version even if the price was same.

saw it on my sister 6 series and felt in love with it. you are right though, the price difference is too much for my taste when I looked it up. Too bad the current matte black trim on my rear passenger windows are somewhat scratched up. May be I'll just replace some pieces.

Good Luck with that... MOst have tried and only a small number have succeeded. I actually was one of the successfulls, but it didn't hold up that long. I actually just converted over to OEM shadowline. Much nicer and I never have to worry about it. Save your money and time!
To the op... It is very easy. I can do a car in about 10min tops.
