Maybe it's because all connection in/out China goes through gowernment servers and so some words, IPs cause blocking of those. Has to ask some of my friends in Finland to try to download those.

Thanks,

Skaffa

SG535D - you are a star !
I enjoyed watching these...

A friend of mine warped his discs ( ?1500?) on an old M5 . How did you avoid the same kind of problem?

Great.

Will you be going back once you are running the DMS remap to compare times

how much extra does track day insurance cost?

I didn't They are slightly warped, looking into replacements. Getting the garage to price M5 disks, but it turns out you'd also need the calipers and wheel hub! Fact of the day - M5s use the same brake pads as the 535d

Definitely going back - but not to compare times. There's too many variables (such as weather, traffic on the ring, tyre condition, brake condition etc) to say that its the DMS box that made the difference in a laptime. I will be getting the DMS box rolling roaded, so that should be a good comparison. I am expecting the DMS box to be an improvement over the speedbuster, whether its massively noticeable or not remains to be seen! I'll let you know first here though

Track Insurance - the Nurburgring is a public destricted (bar 2 points on the circuit) toll road, not a track. However most german insurance policies specifically exclude the nurburgring, but I believe most UK policies aren't the same (yet).

I met a friend of yours at the track - he was talking about your Total BMW shoot?
That's Matt. He has a Porsche 928 (those guys know me as "Bruce").

BTW, my real name is Andrew. The Bruce thing is an online-nick, given to me because I'm Australian.

Here's another vid of me and a GT3. Please take it with a pinch of salt, it was clear this driver was inexperienced at the circuit
