Hello All:

I have searched this topic but just need some clarification. I am between the Upsolute and Speend Innovations ECU Re-Flash. Both claim about the same HP. Has anyone tried Upsolute? I know R1Racer (Joe) has tested the Speed Innovations Chip re-flash and loves it. I have found an authorized Upsolute Dealer in NJ. This will save me the time of shipping the ECU out. They also have a dyno faclity so I can dyno before and after. just wondering if any members can chime in on their experiences. Thanks in advance.

Not that I am aware of. I could be wrong though. Are there any members using the Upsolute chip?

I believe there is Powerchip. You can also try Dinan, but it may put a hole in your pocket buying stuff from Dinan.

Thanks NeRwEEzy and Alpinewhite for the replies. Considering all options right now. Just want to do my homework first. Looking for something reliable and yielding the most power. Can you get the Dinan Stage 3 without the supporting mods? As of now, I am still bone stock. Any specs. on Powerchip?

It may not be a good idea to dyno/relash/dyno. It usually takes a couple days of driving for the computer to become adjusted to the reflash.

The Dinan software comes in different stages depending on the type of Dinan mods you have. Stage 3 would require that you have the throttle body and intake. If you don't have those mods, you'd have to get Stage 1.

As for Upsolute, I remember looking into them a few years ago when I got my 545. Please see this link:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...t=0&start=0

Also, cobradav put together an analysis of some of the tuners that offered software for the 545 back then on this link:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...t=0&start=0

Of course, more tuners have developed software for the 545 since then so you may want to do more research. At least I hope the above two links can give you a good starting point.
