Charcoal Filter Removal

Easy 5 min job. Used a skinny flat head screwdriver and inserted it approx 5 mm between the charcoal filter and holder and moved it down the side till the plastic corner popped. Then used my hand to pull the filter out popping one side at a time. Easy as pie. 2008 550i.

I had my car smog checked recently and I had no problems passing.
