Nice set of instructions, I did the same mod a couple of weeks back using Philips BlueVision 12v5w as well as upgrading main headlight bulbs to Osram H7 NightBreaker
Attachment 43592
Here's before and after (notice on the before image, eyebrows weren't working which was fixed by CIP upgrade)
Attachment 43594
Attachment 43593
Cheers

but these cost more cos they have the name Philips on them and they are 12v5w which are not as bright as the 12v8w.
looks good.
BTW why is your top photo yellow eyelid not on and the 2nd photo is on?

Yeah, I bought the car used, and through these forums found out why the eyebrows didn't light up. I had to take the car in to get a CIP upgrade.
As for the BlueVision bulbs, these retail about ?10 in UK, but I found an online offer that if you spent more than 10 pounds they would throw a pair of BlueVisions in for free. I got two pairs for free when I ordered by H7 nightbreakers.
Apok.

But if I have to pay for the Philips, then no way.
?20 for 2 set of Philips, that more than what I am selling my for and dont forget these are less bright too.

Thanks for the pics and instructions. So, if I'm reading this right, this is to change out the yellowish look of the angel eyes to brighter white? And did you say that this will not work with a car that has the xenon lights? I have a 2006 550i with xenon lights and I just changed out my foglights to better match the headlights, but now I just want to "fix" the yellowish angel eyes and make them brighter. Please pm me the cost if the fix. I am at 20147 in the US.
search the forum there are loads of info on this item

Is there a xenon sidelight bulb available for guys with xenon? The original bulb is a 10W Ba9 fitment bulb. Changed mine to a 20W Ba9 fitment bulb but the bulb brightness was the same and I got an error message. I assume the lumen rating of the bulbs are the same.
