IO have zenon h/lights does that make a difference?
these will not work on zenon h/lights.
you will need the more expensive 1s

is it possible to get the cliff-notes of this thread?

I have an 09 535xi with xeon, what do I need to do to get these to work/which bulbs should I buy?

the 4 bulbs will not work on you car.
