My Ride: 545 modded the F out
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
My car underwent a major transformation and saying that I'm happy with the final product is an understatement. Here's a list of what I did.
FROZEN GRAY paint job. Left the roof/ roof spoiler Jet black
Carbon Fiber Hamann rep splitter
NVD M5 Rep Mirrors w/ carbon fiber bottom
Carbon Fiber emblems - Hood, trunk and Steering wheel
3.5 inch Gloss black quad tips (installed yesterday no pics yet)
Swapped out my wheel caps from silver to black
(I also recently picked up a set of 20" Vertini Concaves with gloss black lip as well as an SMG illuminated steptronic shifter)
later on when the sun sets here in the Bay a couple of my buddies with DSLR's and I will be shooting the car either at Jack London Square or Treasure Island. Stay tuned.
All the work was done, to include the installation of my mirrors by 360 Autobody in Dublin, California. They are pretty damn good to go with customer service as well as attention to detail. If anybody in the Bay is interested in getting some quality work done look them up and they will for sure beat most if not any price other shops are offering.

To tell u the truth I did a lot of research on the maintenance and upkeep on Frozen gray. I read a lot of negative stories but most of them were from non owners. Once I got enough feedback from actual owners it set me at ease and allowed me to make a sound decision. It definitely is a finger print magnet and collects dusts a tad bit more than the gloss finish, but today I washed the car with a non wax based soap and it was the easiest wash of my life. The extra washes are a small price to pay for the color choice and I don't mind the additional TLC with my baby. It truly is an eye catcher and Im starting to forget that my car was white before. I love it.

Dang! That is a beauty! ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
With all the dough you're dropping on it, could you have gotten a 911, or not quite yet?
Not hating at all though - the car looks great! If anything, respect for keeping the modded E60 tradition alive - and in such a baller way too!
(This was actually the first time I've ever used the word "baller" without irony or cynicism... feels weird
)
