Changed the headling in me 545 to black

Right me and stoneface decided to changethe head lining in my 545 as I wanted black

first you need the complete head lining

here it is

Changed the headling in me 545 to black-img_3613.jpg

Then you start to strip the old head lining we started with all the pillars (follwed by the sunroof) in order to take the top piece off and the sunroof cover

Changed the headling in me 545 to black-img_3615.jpg

Changed the headling in me 545 to black-img_3616.jpg

once the sunroof is out undo the 4 torx to remove the cover

under this thereis about 10 10mm torx that you must remove to drop the head lining

fitting the new one...

The eagle eyes of u may have noticed i sold the white M5 leather and brought this m5 leather instead. check my new topic to see the latest mods that I have done with stone face :-) theres not many modded e60 in the UK so its nice to set a standard lol!

Nice mod, but that last picture looks like the stock headliner ?

What sort of dollar are we talking about to buy that headliner in the UK ? I am based close of Belfast..

cheers dude took us 2 hours, we did jags 545 some time back so this time when we did mine didnt take us to long :-)

btw, I'm praying for you that you won't get any rattles from all the removals... hope it will never come for you guys!!

so far so good dude, as long as your screw it in properly use the sound dead stuff that was there before then you shoul dbe ok, as long as the sunroof has been put back correclty and initilaised then there shouldnt be any probs :-) was a nice mod to do on saturday :-)

It's been posted that it cost $500 to get the black headliner, how much did you pay for it?
