I'm a small guy so I tend to slide around in the seats during spirited driving. Do any of you guys have any experience with this product? It's supposed to cinch your lower body for those "fun" drives and seems like a good alternative to an all out race harness.

you can almost achieve the same result via DIY -

or get one of those anti-slide clips that come w/ baby seats.

if you want a real harness, the schroth quick-fit harness for e60 should be out by now...

but $40 ain't bad, might as well try it.

How much would the Schroth quik-fit be?

But maybe I should just try this one and provide a report.

Nice seats!

I'm actually just looking for a bit more restraint during those rare drives so these Recaros would be overkill.

I decided to order the CG-Lock and try it out. The main reason is that I don't need such a tight restraint all the time; only on those rare occasions. Also, I don't think the wife would quite approve seeing a race harness, much less having to use it whenever she drives my car. The CG-Lock seems easy to remove/install so I'll give it a shot..

I've got this, and so has Hobi. Well recommended, it really does make a difference for spirited driving. After having tried it, I won't be without it on the nurburgring.
