Default CCC to CIC Retrofit parts

Hello Everyone,

I have E60 535xi(with the Sport Package) with CCC, I found an wrecked E60 with CIC. My question is do I simply remove the screen, the CIC unit containing the hard drive, and the climate control panel, and the Comm Box?

Then just recode them to my car.

- CIC Unit
- Screen
- Cable between cic unit and screen
- climate control with front panel
- combox

Thanks. My car already has the USB port from the factory, I wonder if it is the same.

From what I know is not the same, you have the usb from the mulf 2 high....am I right? The CIC used it's own USB port (2 usb ports). Hope this helps!

Hi
sorry to hijack the thread. I have all the items from above, minus USB port and cable. I also have the CAN filter, lci climate controls and panel. The cic unit is preloaded with maps and ‘free coded’. Is this all I need to make it work?
also, currently I have a ccc unit with BT option, how do I connect the BT module to the cic unit?
and as a last issue: is it possible to get RTTI information on the cic navigation at all?

thanks a lot

I have picked up the NBT EVO. I got everything down to the back up camera. Just in the process of gathering the necessary info and sourcing an emulator.
also just got a F10 535xi with a pretty nice system. Since the car is going to be parted out, I will be pulling out that system as well.
