Hi,

I am thinking of getting 35% Charcoal dyed tint all-around for my 2006 525i Silver Grey. They were quoting $180+ .. I thought they used to be do it for $150.
Anyone have any contacts over there?

I live in NJ, but couldnt find any good tint places around, so decided to drive 40+ miles to CARPRETTY and get it done there. Thanks!

I suggested this Tinter top someone else in NJ. I had my Maxima done there.....for MORE actually, and I think they are cheaper now. I'm getting my tint done there. Here's the number....215-688-2000. I have a card from Ryan, but I'm not sure he's still there. Up the street is his competitor, but he doesn't use the compu-cut for the tint and he takes a bit longer for the process. I'll be at Car Pretty Next week..............................

Trust me, I have done good research on this, The best are non-metal and non-dyed. The dyed tints fade unless they have lifetime warranty on color. Go for no-metal and no-dye tint or Ceramic (best) (formulaone-pinnacle, Madico-ceramic, Huper-optik-ceramic). These have lifetime warranty and does not interfere with electronics. I am going to have on my 2008 xi either Madico-ceramic or Formula one-pinnacle. Solar gard-supreme & Suntek-carbon dye with lifetime color warranty may be less expensive and have no metal.

Check other specs/features too on their websites:
How much privacy you need( light/medium/dark)
How much solar heat rejection you need( % ): THIS is IMPORTANT if it is long commute everyday!
How much glare, UV reduction etc.... you need
Does it go/look good on luxury cars like Bimmers

I had mine done there, no problems. Not sure about the price, probably closer to 180.

I just had my E60 done at CarPretty 3 weeks ago. They are by far the best tint shop in Philly. Very professional. I've had all my cars tinted there (one at a time lol).

If you want anything darker than 15% they will try to convince you otherwise (and rightfully so, probably), but they'll do whatever you tell them.

good luck!

I believe that tint all-around is not allowed in NJ, only back doors and rear window.
