Carbon fiber Ebay disaster.

My Ride: '06 BMW 550i MSport, Carbon Black,20" Vossen CV-1's,Remus,RPi scoop,H&R.

Warning fellow 5 series modders!
I purchased a CF Hamman style front lip and CF rear diffuser for my '06 550i
with factory M kit.The vendor On Ebay is trading as jl-motoring and offers many reasonably cheap CF pieces for a whole range of vehicles.
Well,i forked out $900 with shipping,and i feel totally ripped off!
I took my car to a reputable panel shop in my area to do the install and they said the rear diffuser will not fit the vehicle at all no matter what they do.The front lip is such a poor fit that it actually pulls the gap open on both sides of the car where the top rear of the bumper meets the fenders.
Where the lip meets the lower bumper is really bad with a 3 or 4mm gap,and it ruins the whole look.The photos on Ebay certainly look nothing like the shambles i've ended up with.
I have contacted jl-motoring via email (suprise suprise there are no phone numbers on their website) and have had no reply at all....

With the rep splitters, I think it needs to be adjusted so it sits balanced on both sides. Please post pics for us to see what your fitment is like.
For the rear diffuser, are you sure it does not go over your existing diffuser?

Not to be a jerk or anything but this is exactly why I always stress to buy from a trusted source. Yes sometimes our prices are more than eBay but at least you can rest assured that you'll get what you pay for.
