Looking to get my car tinted darker. in the back but i dont know anyshop thats a fair price.. I have 35% all around right now im looking to get limo in all the back and maybe leaving my 35% in the front window.. My only conflict is i can either remove the tint or over lay.. what do you guys think? The bad thing about removing tint is i might damage the defroster. Any one have a DIY?
I had 35% all around like you and was thinking of limo in the back but went with 20% instead and glad I did. Go with 20, you will really not see a damn thing from the outside but still see fine from inside-out. Also, from the front it will be very dark compared to 35%. My tint was removed by a professional shop. They went VERY slow and used a steamer. I had no damage.

honstly louie, if you're not comfortable doing this yourself I'd just take it to a professional shop and have them do it correctly. You might end up making a mistake which could cost you even more $ in the long run....

I'm not sure that even a shop can remove the back tint for fear of tear defrost stips.
