can somone give me an idea what these wheels are worth? the guy said to just make him an offer.... 2 are bent, my wheels guy said 1000 each for new barrels..
i have no idea what to offer him...
anyone...

There was a recent thread where a guy bought used wheels off eBay (ignoring the advice given by learned members of this forum) .I think he is still crying into his beer.

From the pictures, here is what I can see:

Clear coating is coming off the lip portion on one of the rims.
Seems to be a lot of scratches as well but it may be dust.

I just spoke w/ iForged. To replace the lip it would cost $275/wheel, then to refinish to gloss black it would be another $350/wheel.

Well here is the link he posted on craigslist. Hes asking $1600. Throw $900-1000 to test the waters, get an idea what hes looking at.

Beside the advice you've already received I'm always reluctant to purchase items at that price level where the seller's Ebay feedback is old and limited.

I would only purchase them if I could see them in person first. If the lips are bent, they can be replaced and it's not a huge deal like Michael said. If your wheel guy is charging you $1,000 per wheel to change out the barrell, then that seems extremely high. Try to pick them up for $500 and call it a day!

Thats a typo.... he wanted 900 for new barrels.. 2 of them
