i installed hid fogs and they work fine....but when i start the car they dont work.....does anyone know what the problem is....i've installed hid's in all my cars but never seen this....any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.........
by the way its an 08 550 with adaptive headlights....if that helps....

You mentioned you installed the hid fogs right? The fogs do not turn in automatically. You must press the fog light button each and everytime you restart

yes i did......lol...... .......after i started the car and pressed the button for the fog lights to come on.....they didn't ......so i shut the car and turned the ignition only on......and they would come back on.....just not when the car is running......w.t.f. is wrong wit them........thanks guys

Are you running a capacitor for the error messages? if not you need to be. check your connections to make sure the positive and negative are lined up from the car to HID kit itself. Sometimes HID aftermarket setup are off. I learned the hard way.

You can run wire direct from the battery and use a relay to close the circuit when you turn on your fogs. You will also need to add a resistor between the relay and the fog light wire so the computer will think it is pulling the correct current.

this is a DIY but if you dont feel comfortable i would say buy the cables and make it a clean connection.
