well your spoiler IS reusable after you take it off, but taking it off without hurting the paint and the spoiler is pretty hard task, the thing is I have a very good handy man who does everything for me, so when he re adjusted mine he did use dental floss among other things I may NOT know, I learnt from the forum about the dental floss process and I do believe as andy said using the hair dryer also before the floss or fishing line, either ways if you do it right you will just need new sets of double sided tapes and thats it.....

Heres what i would do.....
use a blow dryer and dry your hair until its no longer damp....
apply the dental floss gently between the teeth and remove all the plaque....
lastly, blow torch the entire car...the glue shout melt first..thus leaving the spoiler for easy removal....
if these advice dont work......proceed to nearest BMW dealer and purchase an M5

Be careful with fish line because it will scratch your clearcoat if you are not careful.
I'd spray wd40 to loosen the glue if I can get a small gap, then use several lines of waxed dental floss. Slide it back and forth in combination with wd40 and your fingers to lift the lid lip up.

Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.
Eddie- it looks like you've lost control of this legitimate question to the crazies- some are trying to help but if these people were your (our) friends they would be supporting you- it's EXTREMELY likely that the heat gun/dental floss method will work. I might add some citrus based solvent (like GOO GONE or similar) to help loosen the tape, or the 3M equivalent but you will be able to remove this (or a decent professional would be able to) without hurting the finish. Don't lose sleep over this- just use your head and don't apply too much mechanical pressure and you will be fine to try again.
