If you car has folding mirror from the key, you can change the switchblock with a new one with the button. It takes about 20 min, then it is done.
You need to take the door cover off, and loosen the screws for the trim.
Remember you might need error resetting when you have disconnected the airbag in the door.
Easy job 5/10

There you go Ron. Buy the switchblock with the button; you already know how to take the door cover off so install would be a breeze.
BTW, Mike AKA mo858 is coming over to my place tonight to look at my Ricky Effect LCI rear stop light mod. It'll be nice to have a mini E60 M&G.
