Hey Joe, is the warranty on the supercharger only or is it on the engine too? Or on the SC with consequential damages on the engine covered?

In most cases it will only cover the s/c itself, else everyone would bump the psi, and blow engines all day long lol

Thank god I leased, or my pockets would probably be 8 grand lighter in a few months time. I can't wait to hear some reviews.

Main question, What is included?
+1

Looking at Alpinas H1 (N62b44) engine, the standard for reaching 500 reliable hp is quite known.
Wait NPe: Alpina B5 engine is not just supercharged, but they modified the engine in order to be perfectly reliable (there was a clip on YT) .

If the content is the same, I will definitely consider get one.
I have service free till 2011.. I will try to ask to the dealer, but I think it is difficult (because if - for example - my gearbox will break, BMW would send a man to inspect the car) .

Edit: can we have a price?
What does "less than 10k" mean? 9, 8 or what?

I guess it is worth...... but I need to confirm if with SC will be more faster than the stock M5?

For sure: -150 Kg (300 lbs?) and tons of torque.
Finally, if you want to destroy the M also on track, get a Quaife as I did and have fun!
But remember tires are expensive
