I bought my car as a CPO and it originated from NY so it has a front license plate mounting.

The question I would like opinions on is whether to remove the ugly thing and cover the holes with bumperplugs (www.bumperplugs.com)

OR

Buy some other kind of plate (Euro or otherwise(I come from South Africa orginally, so that is a possiblity)) and mount it on the front license plate mount.

That because you have never had a license plate mount on it. The holes that are left behind are pretty unsightly, almost like someone fired a small caliber round from the inside.
