Default Bulb Check Errors Removal - Parammeters

I need some advice here. I am about to do my first coding session on my E60 to remove the "Left Parking bulb out" and "Right Parking bulb out" errors from my LCI Halogen Headlights retrofit.

Here is the situation:
I have swapped my pre-LCI halogens for LCI-halogens and of course now I have the "Left parking bulb out" when driving with switch on number "2" position (angel eyes on). And, if I flip the switch to position "3" (low-beam headlamps on) the angel eyes turn off completely and I get 2 errors on iDrive: "Left parking bulb out" and "Right parking bulb out".

Now I know I need to disable the cold/warm bulb checks:

KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv

As well as these(not sure what they mean) :
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_L
nicht_aktiv
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_R
nicht_aktiv

From you guys that have done this, will this resolve my bulb errors, and keep my AEs on with low-beams?

Thanks,
Patrick

Yes it should ... also pre-LCI halogen has 2 AE bulb on each headlight did you combine both of them to drive the new single-bulb AE on the LCI halogen?

The 1st group as you already know disable the cold/warm check ... I think the 2nd group disable the error notification.

Um... I'm using a harness Simon made for me, I'm not sure. I know that the wire that goes to pin#9 (i think... or maybe pin#8) is simply connected into one of the other wires. Same on both cables.

Ahhh ... 'cuz if the LM is not hyper sensitive (it depends) you can get away by combining both since the LM see enough load and no error and no need to code out bulb check.

I'm definitely going to have to code out the bulb checks... They come on every time I drive. I only get the "Left parking lamp malfunction" when driving with the angel eyes on and I hold the brake for a few seconds. That's it.

I get both sides malfunction errors when I drive with headlights on (low beams) every time no matter what- The LM actually turns off the Angel eyes every time I flip the switch to position "3" low beams. Pretty stupid.

I will update with my results after coding.

Hello Guys,

Did you have any success trying to disable these checks?

Thanks
