Hey folks,
I just bought these BRS wheels from ebay, size 20X9 fronts and 20X10 rears. Problem is the tires that came with it are too big for the E60, size 255/35/20 fronts and 285/30/20 rears. It originally came off of a 645i. The fronts are not getting enough clearance and are hitting the bottom of the struts, won't work . I took a risk that it might fit because I saw a posting from Herb that one of his customers had the same kind of set-up with no problems. Maybe it makes a difference in the brand of tires? I have the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A which are real good tires and very expensive. The wheels have only 1000 miles on them from what the former owner told me and no curb rash whatsoever. I love them, but now I'm debating on whether I should just sell the tires and buy 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 which is the correct set-up, or just sell them all outright and try to get my money back. The rim size should not be a problem. Any advice/ideas? Anybody with a 6 series want to take these off my hands? . If you are in So Cal I will sell them for $1400, which is the price I paid for them. Just the tires alone cost $1200

I think Busta has the same kind of wheels.

Considering you already bought them at a great price, I say sell the tires and keep the wheels.

I do have the same wheels I run 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear Nitto Nt555's. Herb has good deals on Nitto's...last I checked he was selling the tire package for these wheels for 950.00.

Thanks Busta. Yeah I'm considering keeping the rims, but if somebody with a 6 series offers to buy them I would sell. I think I can get away with the rear tire size. I will check with my local "Americas Tire Co". Last time my salesman sold me a set of Nitto 235/35/20 (for my Benz) for around $169 each.

Hi Busta,

Do you know what offset your wheels have, front and rear?
If do so, inform me please.
