Brighter LCI tail rods?

My Ride: BMW E60
Model Year: 2016
So I got to thinking the other day... is there a way to make the LCI tails' rods be brighter?
Reason being that they are very noticeable at night, but during the day, they look hardly lit.
I am not familiar with the tails as I am with the headlights, and just wondering if anyone has any info on this.
Yes... apparently, I am a big lighting junkie.

If you already have an LCI then you will need to change the LEDs to high wattage ones. The reason the LEDs in the tails are not bright is because the voltage to them is deliberately lower than a full 12V.
