You will get bends if you hit a big enough pothole with the breytons but John@motorcepts hit a BIG pothole for his tires to get flat or wheels to bend... other than that with all the rough roads his wheels have held up extremely well

I've gotta tell you guys, you may think all wheels bend and crack, but BBS stand up to some severe beatings! I'm not sure about forged - have yet to try those out myself, but I understand, bending a forged wheel is next to impossible as well. Now, I'm not expecting Breytons to be better than BBS or forged - I'm not that crazy. I just want them to be significantly stronger than OEMs, that's what I'm going for here. But so far, I'm convinced that they are...

Not 100% true my iforged wheels I think have a bent in the front not sure though I only get vibrations at 70 so might be balancing.

you think? I'm still unsure... I don't want to get anything weaker than the originals...

Try balancing it out on a road force machine

Have you considered running plus sidewall? 245/40 instead of 245/35. Good protection for any wheels.

I have thought about it. I already have the tires - didn't feel like getting new ones... but yeah, I've definitely thought about going one size bigger on the sidewalls - especially on the 19's - 245/40/19 would have worked just fine!

I've had the GTS-R's since 08' on my E90 then switched them over to my E60 a few months ago. I've definitely hit a few potholes that were big enough to bring tears to your eyes but they've held up to the abuse...

I had Breytons on my X5. They got bent on the regular and I didnt even hit huge potholes. I would stick to a forged wheel btw and a thicker sidewall if this is your concern. GL
