I came across some wheels for sale, both brand new. I like both; the BBS are $800cnd and the Breyton package is %1400. The BBS LM reps have no tires yet, which would allow me to put what i want. Here are the specs:
BBS LM - 19x10 ET 40 and 19x8.5 ET 35 Will the BBS fit the 530i? Would they look good with 285 tires? Is 19x10 too wide for 285 tires? I was thinking 285/35 for rear and 245/40 for front. I like the 19' size though!! Any other tire size set up recommended? I used an offset calculator and the numbers dont mean much to me!
Breyton Spirit - 18x9 and 18x8. These would fit suppossedly, but not sure if i want 18". Rear tires are 265/35/18 and fronts are 245/35/18.
I just wanted to hear from you experienced modders what u think. I like the lips on these wheels, just not sure of the fit.

Thanks guys!! I appreciate ur feedback. I know the BBS are not real, but I am not spending that much for wheels (real BBS), especially here in Canada when most of the year I use winter rims!! The roads r crap here too!!
Okay, so what offset should I keep in mind when lookng for rims? Between what numbers? I seem to see that under 30 for the rear and 20 for the fronts is popular?

LOL! Yeah, an xi would make sense for our 2 seasons here; winter and road construction! I will keep looking. More used ones are on the market and sales are on, so I will find my rims. I am learning that I need a lower number in offsets; thanks. Who knew buying rims would be so hard!

After much searching and questioning, i ended up getting 20" Concept One RS-8s Matte Black machined polished with stainless lips. I just put them on last night. I will post pics soon.

Wrong offset ... you'll need spacer ... thick one probably ...
