I had a question about brakes.
I called 2 BMW dealers, 1 in Manhattan the other in Brooklyn.
Both told me that I do not need Hardware kit to do brakes on my BMW.
All I need is the Rotors, Pads and a Sensor each for front and back.
Is this true?
No hardware kit?
I see sites selling hardware kits for BMW brakes?
Kind of confused can someone shine some light please.

I did my brakes myself and all I change was Rotors, pads and sensors. The hardware kit for our cars are mostly replacement springs and clips meant for the emergency drum brake in the rear. If your emergency brake is working fine you really don't need to do anything about it other than clean it.
