Brake Rotor Question

I am getting ready to do rotors and pads all the way around on my 545. I have seen recommendations on this site for both Axxis and EBC pads...haven't decided which way to go yet. I wanted to ask what some of you think about the options for rotors. Do you have any thoughts on slotted, drilled or solid rotors, any recommendations?

My Ride: F13 M6
we carry premium rotors that are direct OEM-sized replacements. most popular ones are the ones that are both drilled and slotted. I can get you those Axxis pads as well

Alas no, I have no experience with that company. You should talk with Trinity though, they've never steered me wrong.

Not sure why thats popular because apparently drilled rotors are shitty rotors except for the benefit of more bite and less gas buildup. But as far as stopping power they're worse. If I get rotors they would be slotted at the most but never drilled.

Solid are the best to provide stopping power. A big brake kit with a nice solid rotor is the way to go. The cross drilled and slotted is just for show now a days. There is minimal gas build up so that is negligable therefore slots and holes are not needed. A nice big vented rotor is great. BMW OEM rotors are pretty darn good as is but if you go aftermarket than just get a bigger rotor that is solid.

My Ride: 2004 545i - Bone stock... help!
I'm ordering some OEM replacement rotors from DBA and am having trouble trying to get the overall sizing for OEM rotors. Realoem isn't very specific (leaves some info out). Anyone happen to know this stuff? I know from realoem that the fronts are 348X30 but I'm not sure if the height is 73.2 (what DBA have). The rears are the confusing part: OEM size is 345X24. DBA have 345X20X85.3.
Or, 345X28X55.1. I don't think either will work?? What are the overall size of the rears? 345X24X??
