Ive changed my brake pads but the idrive is still say that they need changing. How do i reset the idrive to tell it that ive changed them?

afaik, i think only dealer can do that

Any idea if they will charge? My car is still under warranty.

Or shall i blag to them that idrive keeps on crashing so they can update the software and reset it at the same time?

You CAN reset this through the idrive screen without dealer assistance. Do a quick search.

The link is for resetting the oil change indicator, but it should be the same for the brake pads if you cycle through the menu.
