Hey All,
I waxed my wheels 8 days ago with Wheel Wax from Bavarian Autosport http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp
and we have had rain through about 4 of them. I have driven probably 250 miles of daily runs (city and highway) and errands. I took these pics tonight down by the river, to show how decent they look. You can't see how dirty the car body is, but you can judge for yourself. I'm impressed so far.

not bad at all. Rears and fronts look similar :)

I tried it on my 328 and my M3 and didn't think that it made much of a difference at all. If you are looking to protect your rims in a similar way, you can use any good wax on them. Another thing, Ray, if you do not use it quickly it will seperate and look like cottage cheese. We are lucky in that our rims are easy to wax. The ones on the M3 were a nightmare. For now, I will stick with low dust pads :) One other thing, are you running different rims/tires for the winter?? If so, what and how do you like them??

I agree that these wheels are a flat, smooth breeze to work with. I can't imagine doing some of those lacy, fine-spoked versions. Don't know about separation, but the stuff smelled so sweet that it attracted no fewer than THREE bugs to their demise while I was working at twilight.

I run 17" wheels from Tire Rack and last year's E39 Semperits; it made for a very reasonable-cost setup. If you search in the Parts and Accesories board under Semperit, you can find the whole thread, and of course, there are others. (PS They sent me the BWM roundel centers the following week.)
