Thanks, I found the pads online for $61 shipped for the front: http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/6...0A2594400.aspx . Is this a good price? Should I replace the rear as well? What will the dealer charge to put these in? Do I need to go to the dealer for something so simple or can anyone do it? Thanks!
There are also some 5% discount plus free shipping coupon codes that I found on a google search, too. I think pads were around $90 for all four corners shipped.
The Axxis were higher $$ than the centric - just make sure you order posi quiet semi metallic (it says metallic on autopartwarehouse.com but they are the right ones, the part number should start with a 104). Make sure you don't order the posi quiet ceramic or the extended wears. Centric makes the Axxis pads as well as the centric pads.
As far as installing them, I had never done it but a friend had. He did the fronts while I watched and I did the rears. Really easy. But then again, I made him do the fronts so I figured if I screwed up I'd end up OK!

OEM is know for Brake Dust Heaven...hehe
The Centric Posi-Quiet Semi-Metallic are the equivalent performance to the Hawk HPS Pads. The price is much lower then the Hawks. I have good success with them and Axxis Deluxe pads...

I use the axxis deluxe pads and they are definitely great in terms of reducing brake dust, as for braking power the oem pads are better. But the way I look at it is I don't track/race my car so the little decrease in stopping power is ok for a great reduction in brake dust.

I have Hawk pads from Trinity Autosports, and they work GREAT!!! The Axxis were not available at the time, and I'm loving these. I basically only have to clean my wheels once a week, and my 5er is my daily driver. And I'm not a slow driver. And I am very anal about brake dust. You can't go wrong with either Axxis, or Hawk.

+1 on Axxis pads. I had to drive them about 1500 miles to get them to set in right and now they brake very well. Factory pads still had more initial bite, but the Axxis pads will haul you down in a hurry once they are set in. Very little dust even after hard driving. I still clean mine every other day, I think I have OCD on brake dust and dirt...lol

I got mine for less from autopartswarehouse.com , I also ordered through mrrebates.com and got a small rebate as well.

What is wrong with the Ceramic pads? I know that the yellow brakes on a porsche indicate the ceramic brakes ( $15K ) and are high performance with almost no dust. ( I have not tried the pads this is just a question )
