Jimbo is a proponent of the California Duster. I had a mini duster that I found to work well for light dusting. For heavier dusting, I use more frequent clear water and wheel brush rinsing and brushing.

California Duster

Some have recommended RejeX which I found to be excellent on paint protection and sheen but ineffective on brake dust.

Hope this helps a little more.

Just cleaned my wheel. They were so dirty. I used regular dishwasher like some one recommended me here on e60. I can not recall the name of the person.

Yes, I noticed them! I had them on an older car and someone stole them. I decided it wasn't worth getting them again...

On another note, all you wheel/car photographers, here's a little tip:

You can spin the BMW wheel center (hub cap) freely before taking pics of your car so that they are upright!

It's hard to see it in this picture but if you look closely, you'll see what I mean:

Okay, Rudy, I went out and straightened them. Will they stay that way until I take another picture down the road?

Some one recommended swiffer to remove light break dust. Just got my box of it. 32 sheets for $8.29.

Can not wait to use them.

Maybe we can figure out a way to weight them near the bottom then grease up the edges so that they'll always stay level -- kind of like those old odometers on motor coaches? (Do they still have them or does anyone actually remember them?)

Has any one used this product?

http://www.wheelwax.com/wax.html

According to the description, it should aliviate the amount of dust on the wheel. Trying to find a quick solution for my rimms. Winter is coming and I can not spend much time on the cold weather cleaning my wheels.

I will not my e60 go thru the same 'amount of break dust' that my E46 and E39 went thru.

I did not have a good forum for either one and my enthusiast about them was not the same as for my e60. I apologize to my 3 preview cars..

New mazda 626 98-2000''
New E46 2000-2001
New E39 2001-2003
New e60 2004-present.

hmmm..i configured a porsche last night. Porsche 911. The price about the same about the 645..hm....
