Looking at the application list, there is not a car (BMW) with 348/36 discs!

Only 348/30 discs!

And that works for the "5", "6" and even the "7"!!

Now, ain?t this crazy or what?!
Very strange. It is far to wet here today to go out and measure mine. If the rain stops I will just so we know what we need to buy.

I?ve looked through Movit brakes and they don?t have anything for our cars!

I?m checking out Brembo right now!

They have listed 348/30 but nothing on 348/36!

The 348/30 are for:

645i, 740d and 745i!

Could these be suitable for our cars?

the only thing i can find out with 36 are the 374mm discs for the 760i!

And talking about fast replying, i went outside to measure my discs and they are 36!

So, 348/36!

Yes but maybe some of us have enough miles or kilometres to change the discs!

So that is why we want to change them!

i have searched everywhere and can not find any front or rear drilled or/and slotted discs, for the 530/535d
there are ones listed for 525d (e60) and M5 etc, but none for the diesel
i know the rotor size goes up quite a bit from the 525 to the 530/535d, and its these larger ones im after

any ideas guys?

Let me save you some time cause I went through weeks of research earlier last year.

In Europe, you will simply not find any direct drilled/rotor replacements at the diameter you're seeking (at least 545i and 535d have the same so my experience here is based on them) - Zimmerman and EBC don't provide anything at these sizes (I called them both - they would be ready to custom make something they said for the right price !) Ebay is full of drilled discs all the way up to 530i/530d (new models with uprated discs may not apply) - I suspect one reason is because our discs (540i, 545i, 550i, 535d) are of the floating type.
All of these discs (EBC, Zimmerman) are easily available in the States, but this means expensive shipping, expensive customs plus they will heavier than stock (not floating aluminium hub).

I got fed up and put M5 brakes on at the end.

Maybe there's something new out there in the meantime - good luck.
