My Ride: See my signature
Today, John installed 8000K HID Angel Eyes in my ride. What an amazing mod. The stock E60 angel eyes are so dim -- much dimmer than they were in my E39 540i Sport.
John's HID angel eyes are stunning. They are intensely bright. The AEs light up in bright bright white in the 8000K color. By far the most visible of any of the lighting mods I have had done. They scream "BMW." Thanks so much John. A mod worth every penny.
Here are the pics of them, taken this evening in my parking garage:

It's the camera. I have a tiny Sony -- no SLR. In person, the AEs do not disappear into the headlights. But my camera is too simple to play with the exposures. That is why I took the first picture, which was taken from above the lights. That one shows the differentiation.

I have been debating getting the HID reverse lights but my LED reverse lights are already pure white and pretty bright. But it is tempting.
