I have an 06 530i and wanted the M5 replicas.
The good: I ordered them from Derick at Spy Eng and he was fairly accomodating and shipped the wheels with tires for a decent price. After putting them on, they look great and I am pleased with the look.
The bad: Shipping from west coast to east coast via FedEx took days longer than FedEx had estimated. But they finally arrived, 3 wheels one day and 1 wheel later the next day.
The Ugly: Upon arrival, one valve stem cap and one //M decal were missing. Not a big deal, however, after two emails to Derick at Spy Engineering asking for replacements I still have yet to receive any response. It seems to me that customer service shouldn't stop after the initial purchase. I would have recommended him and his company had I received any response but now I'm reluctant to do so.
Bottom line, there are other companies that will sell the same thing and give better follow-up customer service. I can't say anything bad about the product, just the service. You make the call

He shouldn't have to buy them from eBay if they were supposed to be included with his purchase in the first place.

How heavy where the 166 replica wheels?
thanks
thanks
My biggest fear in buying replicas was the quality and about a week after having them installed, I hit a very deep pothole. I thought for sure they would be damaged but upon inspection, there wasn't a mark to be found. They seem as durable as OEM's.

To tell you the truth, I don't know. I had them delivered to a tire center near my home and dropped the car off to have them put on. I never really handled them myself.

The BBS ones have the weight stamped into the rears I believe.
What is the offset of the Replica's? Are they the same as the OEM?
