Good news: bootlid release button retrofit is now available for S$275. Part no. is 93 009 100 114.

It is not prewired. The retrofit will include the wiring.

Viper786, your car already has it. The E60 520i in Singapore do not come with it.

Neither do the European E60?s.

This is really bad BMW. Why do we have to pay for this? It should have been there from the beginning! Had it on my 2000 E39 M5.
