My Ride: 2008 535xi 2008 CRG Road Rebel, Rotax FR125

First, thanks to everyone, including the vendors who have been so helpful and supportive. Now, forgive me for giving the dead horse another beating...

I have a 2008 (LCI) 535xi with the park distance sensors that are creating the latest round of heartburn. Has anyone had experience with M-tech OEM and replica installation with the PDCs? It seems that just the sensor kit itself can add $1,000+ to the cost. Why can't the existing sensors be reused?

Thoughts anyone?

Many thanks.

As far as I know the existing sensors can be reused, who told you they couldn't? contact Nerweezy for confirmation.

I have a couple of quotes for the OEM M-tech, one of which included sensors, the other implied that additional sensor parts were required.

Then definitely still contact Nerweezy, Trinity Autosport sells the OEM kits as well as the reps - so they know what they're talking about. If you're getting quotes from a dealer they will typically try to rape you, at least make em buy you dinner first before they get in your pants
