I didn't really care for the red reflector inserts so I had the black ones painted to match my ride.

To me they look fine.

I like it...but for me...I prefer the red. But it's not my car, I don't drive it...so, so what I think.

I totally dig that! Way to go!

I also dislike the red reflectors. I think even the black inserts look better than plastic red reflectors.

MHO, the red or black reflectors look better than painting them.

I was happy to have a black car and kept the inserts..looks much better...Don t like the red refectors at all!...You had a great idea in my opinion.

Can't you fill the part where the inserts go with body filler like bondo, smooth and prime, and then paint them with body color? It'll look like an M5 rear... well, not exactly, but close. Just my 2 cents.
