Hopefully this is not a warez post.
You can download this torrent (BMW 2010-1 EU Professional - Basic POI), burn on a DVD-R . Do not use any other brand or media type if your optical drive is sensitive or didn't have success before. Burn with ImgBurn at 1x speed.
Working 100%, better and even loads faster than original maps DVD from BMW.
Note there's no 2010-2, new maps come out every year. 2011 should be available soon. The torrent above is only for CCC Navteq based iDrive up to 2008/2009 with no harddrive.

nice is that only for professional Sat nav?
I ordered a Business DVD Sat nac 2010-1 around £20.00 but the E60 says insert DVD Navigation Disc, I believe i need to update the Progman / CIP, as my Progman is 09-2003 ( E60 MASK MMI Texte I03-12-500 vom 1 ) , I've asked BMW dealer to do this however thay said I don't need to even thou I said I need it for sat nav, MP3 play back , Text support , CD changer enabled ( I have installed genuine CD Changer ) etc

Yes, I believe this is only for Professional navigations (unfortunately).
As far as I know, maps have never required a CIP upgrade. Did you buy a correct DVD? But it's still worth upgrading for the features you've mentioned.
Tell them your iDrive is freezing and malfunctioning occasionally and you want to try an update, they won't be able to deny.
