BMW iPod interface 30-pins to lightning
I was searching the forum, but didn't find a conclusive answer.
I have the original BMW interface for iPod that connects to the CDC socket, so not the USB interface with Y-cable. It works well with an iPod Touch with 30-pin socket. Now I upgraded to the iPod Touch 5th generation with lightning connector and bought an Apple 30-pins to lightning connector to connect it. However, the iDrive doesn't recognise it.
I have an 2005 E61 525i, with updated software. Does anybody knows if the BMW iPod interface works with a lightning connector?
