Hey Guys. I have a BMW E60 and I would like to change the Halo Light Colour. How is it possible? Changing the whole Ring or just a Bulb?
My headlights are "ECE RL - H7 PY21W - H10W"

Two options: change the bulb or get a whole new light kit ![Whistling](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/whistling.gif)
Simple option of getting new bulbs is the easiest way to go, Ebay is full of types and ranges of bulbs to suit your taste. BUT, you may never really get the fully bright colour possible with new style lights of newer style setups. Install is usually simply replace existing bulbs.
Should note: getting aftermarket bulbs may throw error codes, won't affect anything but will be annoying if you're meticulous about those sort of things.

It is possible to modify the existing bulbs yourself, if you're up for it. You can use many 12v bulbs, including outdoor lighting (wide range of wattage) and other auto bulbs providing you can get to the contacts of the new bulbs you want to use. Changing colors is also an option based upon the bulbs you choose (find). I have tried different options (outdoor 50 watt and current auto 35 watt) and have not gotten any error codes. Best of all, this fix cost about $7 (total, for both sides).

Fairly straight forward, once you understand it. Open the hood. On the back side of the entire headlight assembly there is a round cover. It is about 4 inches in diameter and has a few 'fins' in it (for grip). Reach behind the assembly and twist this cover to unlock it and then remove it. There is a bulb socket directly behind it. Twist the socket, wires and all. It should unlock the socket and now you can pull it out (backwards towards the back of car). Unplug the $40 BMW lamp and replace everything in reverse order.
